BenQ Chairman Mr. Chen Chih-hung has been awarded the title of Academician of the 12th Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
Chairman Chen Chih-hung of the BenQ Group is the chief architect of the group’s transformation and innovation. Under his leadership, BenQ is committed to advancing towards the vision of generating over half of its revenue from high value-added businesses by 2022. He has set forth four winning strategies: optimizing existing businesses, expanding into the healthcare sector, developing solutions, and establishing a presence in the 5G network communication industry. Through organic growth, the group has been able to accumulate strength, while also adopting an alliance-based investment growth strategy, promoting a “mutually beneficial win-win” value system. The group has invested in and established over 70 domestic and international enterprises, forming a “united fleet”.
Chairman Chen Chih-hung is dedicated to giving back to his alma mater, promoting collaboration between National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and industry, establishing smart campuses, and facilitating alumni networking platforms. He actively supports NCKU’s long-term vision of becoming a world-class university. From 2019 to 2021, he served as the president of the NCKU Alumni Association in Taipei, initiated the Phoenix Fund platform in 2020, and assumed the role of Chairman of the NCKU Global Alumni Association in 2022.
